“Too often I find myself lost in a sea of endless thoughts…Caught between pure bliss and despair…Stuck in a moment of confusion, doubt and illusions..Someday…Somehow…I’ll get through.”

Summer lovin’ <3
“I wish I could embrace summer and never let it go. I wish I didn’t have to wake up early to leave the house and go to work only to sit in the same chair for hours and use the laptop until my eyes become so sore. I wish I didn’t have to say all that if only I knew what it is I really wanted.”
Summer will have to wait. No regrets, just lessons. :)
Isn’t it wonderful how the waters wave to say hello? And how the daylight slowly creeps in to unfold a glorious sunrise?
So many of the beautiful things in life are right outside your door. :)
Annual Christmas Reunion with relatives at the beach!
Through the Years!
What a lame title! haha But there’s no better way to say it than that! :)
It’s been 5 years since I made the best decision of my life. And I’m so happy I stood by it even when a lot of people disagreed. Sometimes you just have to put yourself out when you know it’s gonna be worth it. ;)
Quick lunch @ 30 kitchen! Both of us still got classes at 1:30PM!
The mushroom soup is to die foooor! I love it! A definite must try! :D
Hihi I couldn’t get enough of the soup! LOL you know me, I get happy over small things! haha
This is my meal! Chicken Pesto :) I didn’t order rice meal coz I was in a “diet” but then I realized this has more carbs than a regular meal. LOL But whatever, the flavor is pretty good and the serving size is quite big. I only finished eating half :D
And this is Kevin’s order! It’s bacon strips in bbq sauce if I’m not mistaken. It was tasty but too fatty. If you’re not on a “diet” this a perfect meal for you. ;)
Ate dessert @ La Marea! Warm brownie cup is <3.
And then after classes, we went to Ayala to chill. We figured it was necessary to eat ice cream coz it’s our anniversary so we went to Gelatissimo! I got the usual, biscotinno and kevin was again experimental and ordered a new flavor, white chocolate something. It was good but not as good as mine. haha!
And there goes another year filled with sugar, spice and everything nice!
Many more years to come, You and Me always <3
Happy birthday to my one and only favorite sister in the whole wide universe, Vera!
She just turned fifteen last Friday. Coincidentally, she was chosen to be part of an activity in school where they get to wear that pink dress on her birthday. Me & mom skipped our morning class/work to show our support to Gummy Bears. I did her hair & make up while mom gave her uhmm moral support? Yep that’s the word.
Pictorials after the show.
Mom & Vera outside their gym.
And of course the birthday girl with yours truly :)
How time flies! Our little girl is slowly turning into a fine lady. :)
Ahhh the weird things you do when you’re bored!
Photo H&MUA by yours truly!
Don’t judge :D
The last photo creeps me out too!

Hello! Meet my friends! :)
Sy, Joy, Rachel, ME and Zach
We had a long list of plans that day but unfortunately almost none of it happened! :D We were supposed to get a full body massage somewhere in mango but we arrived in the city very late already. And then there’s this photo shoot for Rachel we were planning but it was late afternoon and the sun was out. :’( Blame showtime anniversary special! hehe Too bad, I really want to try the massage! :D
So anyway, we made revisions to our plans and decided to get a drink @ Chatime! It’s a very cute and pink cafe located at IT Park!
Weee our drinks! My order (not in the photo) was chocolate mousse with coffee jelly! Love it! So far that’s my favorite. I’ve tried their pearl milk tea and wintermelon mousse but sadly, I’m not a fan of it. It’s not sweet enough for me. This one is really a must-try! :D
Meet Sy and Rachel! Rachel was our supposed model for the day but due to unforeseeable events, I took only one
good shot of her. I hope we can have a photoshoot before sembreak ends. *fingers crossed*
Meet Joy! My chicka buddy, super friend, laugh trip partner, sometimes chaperon and playmate ever since HS! She always brings out the kid in me. One of the reasons why I think immaturity is awesome! She makes it look so cool to be juvenile! :)
And then there’s Kevin! My forever chaperon! :)
And how could we forget Lara? She’s in MNL right now working as an actress! haha We left a space for you Lars! That’s how much we love you. Awwwwwee <3
Till next time girls! Highs school friends are just the best! :)
My bestfriend’s top secret wedding! I knew about it the night before the wedding! That’s how “top secret” it is…or maybe I was just too busy making plates. Anyways, I wish both of them happiness and love. :)
Wow, I still can’t believe it!!!!
The couple: Roselyn and Allen
MS (Moral Support): Karen
Photographer: Yours truly <3
It’s beyond midnight and I’m still awake. There’s no plates to do but so much things to think about. Nothing left to do but sit and reminisce of the days that have slowly passed by. Eyes wide open and deeply looking forward but still too hesitant to take the first step. It’s getting late yet I feel like there’s so much time to lose…I don’t know what the future holds and how my story goes.I just hope tomorrow I’ll wake up not confused and lost anymore. Oh life.
Sembreak drama for my comeback post! Sorry friends, blame oversleeping! :D
Bored & Restless
Guess who’s been busy all week? Oh my gosh, I cannot imagine the tons of plates left to pass! Deadline is my new worst nightmare. But so far, my problem with procrastination is slowly fading away! I got a huge wake up call c/o my grades..and I just cannot handle being substandard anymore due to my lack of determination and discipline! That being said, I feel kinda awkward posting my shameless self-portrait. :D Everyone deserves a break sometimes. *wink*
So yesterday I got bored and started trying out the different presets in lightroom on my photo. And here are the results.
using the orange filter!
Antique light effect
There you have it! I’m sure you’re all so bored with my face right now! Got a busy week ahead! Wish me luck! :D
I miss photography! :3
Casual shots of my dad and sister…and some self-portraits :)
Fried bacon and boiled egg with rice for lunch! Cooked it myself!! Nothing beats having lunch at home. So many strips of bacon! YUM :)
After hours (approx. 8hours) of hard work and some minor hand injuries, I am happy to announce that I am finally done carving my printmaking plate! :)
If it’s not that obvious, my design is a silhouette of a bird calmly resting on the branch of a tree. Actually, my 1st design was that of a cute puppy but when I finished drawing and started, I realized it was so hard to carve its form. It’ll take a lot of precision which is something I don’t have..yet. :D
These are the awesome tools I used in carving my wood! :) They are sharp enough to use on the mahogany wood we bought. It saved me the hassle and expense of buying a rubber mallet and chisel. :)
These carving tools cost less than those sold at National Bookstore. It only costs P220 at Diane and Candy Bookstore.
My brother is officially a hand model! LOL
Our teacher told us to carve where the grain runs. If the wood seems to be tearing, and your tools are sharp, you are probably going in the wrong direction. Turn around and carve in the opposite direction. You can also carve diagonally across the grain and even parallel to it, but if you carve upwards against the grain, it will only tear and splinter the wood.
Wood carving is fun especially if your tools are sharp. Dull tools will cause you no end of trouble. Your wood will rip and tear and you will cut yourself from having push too hard. Sharp tools take less effort and let you have more control.
Very important reminder when carving wood, carve in the direction against you so you wouldn’t get injuries that much. And, always be careful. Don’t rush because it’ll cost you more damage. I also had my share of minor wounds (3 cuts) in my left hand. Good thing it isn’t that serious. :)
I suggest you try doing prints the traditional way like what I did! It makes me appreciate more the people that came before us. They had to do everything the hard way before. Despite the lack/absence of technology, they still managed to bring beauty and art in this world. Now that’s totally lurid! :)
Destination: Paradise Island <3
To that pretty little island! From afar you can already see the pearly white sands and glistening calm waters! Cooooool :)
Almost to the island! :) You can see some of the cottages already which is a big improvement since the last time we’ve been there. Me and my family had been in Canigao three times already. The first was I think back in 2005 and then in 2010 and now. It was only an island before with less civilization but still really beautiful. We used to just sit in the sand and bring picnic baskets but now it’s progressing quite well.
So you might be wondering why we’ve been there three times already aside from the fact that it is so sublime and considering that it is located far from Cebu (almost 6 hours of boat trip + 1 hour bus trip). Well the answer is simple, we have tons of relatives there (from my lolo’s side)! And that’s why every fiesta they invite us to go there to meet and greet a lot of our long lost relatives and of course, go to the beach! :)
Welcome to Canigao Island!
*My vain Dad and his essential solo picture! LOL
Actually, the whole island is surrounded with white sands and you can circumnavigate it in less than an hour! It’s really just a small island. The journey is equally as awesome as the destination itself. You get to see different scenic views around. The farther you are from the “main area”, the better the island becomes. There are less people which means you are closer to nature and you can appreciate God’s creation even more!
Like that area where my dad is standing, (my tita said it’s called a shoal) you get the feel that you’re in a place away from all the evil the world has. It’s ethereal. :)
My cousins + mom taking a dip. Getting the in-a-private-island-resort-feel since we’re all alone.
fisherman’s boat spotted near the shoal with the breathtaking view of the mountains and sea as its background.
And that ends our adventure in Canigao Island! Go out and make your own adventure as well. I just love the beach! (:
Yay for another post in the travels section in my blog! heee.
*BTW Sorry for the lame photos was too busy/lazy editing any of it. All photos are unaltered. :)
